Terms of Use

Last updated October 5, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of BowlRadar (bowlradar.com), a free directory of youth bowling events. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site. If you create an account, you agree to them when you do.

1. Where the information comes from

BowlRadar gathers event information that tours, associations, bowling centers and organizers publish themselves: their websites, season flyers, PDFs, social media posts and event listings. Some of it we enter by hand; some is read automatically from organizers' websites, which we aim to check daily. Organizers and families can also send us events.

Where a source leaves something out, such as which center hosts a stop, we may look it up or make a reasonable inference, and we aim to say so on the event. Distances and drive times are estimates.

2. Always confirm with the organizer

We work to keep listings accurate, but schedules change, flyers contain mistakes and events are moved or canceled without notice to us. Information on BowlRadar may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. The tournament director or organizer is the only authority on an event's date, location, format, eligibility, fees, entry deadlines and awards. Confirm the details with them before you enter, pay or travel.

BowlRadar is a directory, not an entry service. We do not take entries or payments, run tournaments or decide who may enter. Any dispute over an event, entry or refund is between you and the organizer.

3. Scholarships, prizes and eligibility

Where we show scholarships, prize funds, Junior Gold qualifying spots or other awards, we report what the organizer has published. We do not guarantee that any award will be paid, or paid as described.

Youth bowlers' winnings, eligibility and amateur status are governed by the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) and by each event's own rules; under USBC rules, youth winnings are generally awarded as scholarships, for example to a SMART account, rather than as cash. Nothing on BowlRadar is advice about eligibility, amateur status or scholarships. Check with USBC and the organizer.

4. USBC sanctioning and the Consent Form

Not every event listed here is USBC sanctioned. Where an organizer has told us its events are not, the event's page says so. Otherwise, if sanctioning matters to you, for averages, awards or membership, ask the organizer before you enter.

Adult/youth events need particular care. Under USBC Rule 13, a bowler who is eligible for youth membership must have a USBC Consent Form on file before bowling:

  • in an adult/youth competition that awards prizes other than scholarships or trophies;
  • if they're 18 and eligible for youth membership, in a competition that violates USBC Rule 400.

A parent or legal guardian must also sign for a bowler under 18. The form covers only that event and goes to the tournament manager before bowling. Without it, the bowler can be ruled ineligible and their games forfeited, and accepting prizes in violation of Rule 400 can cost USBC Youth membership. Ask the organizer whether an event needs the form, and whether youth awards are paid as scholarships, for example to a SMART account. USBC Consent Form (PDF).

This is a summary. The USBC Playing Rules control.

5. Your choices are your own

BowlRadar helps you find and compare events; deciding which to enter is up to you. We are not responsible for your choice of event, for its outcome or results, or for any travel, lodging, entry fees, refunds, lost time or other costs that come with it.

6. No affiliation

BowlRadar is independent. Unless we say otherwise, we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by USBC, the PBA, or any tour, association or bowling center listed on the site. Their names and marks belong to them and are used only to identify their events. Listing an event is not an endorsement of it.

7. Accounts

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Accounts are for parents, guardians, coaches and other adults. Keep access to your email secure, since a sign-in link sent to it opens your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that are misused, and you can delete yours at any time from My account. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy policy.

8. Who's going and comments

When you mark an event Interested or Going, anyone can see how many families did, and signed-in families can see your first name and last initial unless you hide your name from My account. “Not going” is only ever shown to you.

Comments are public, and other signed-in families see your first name and last initial with them. Keep them about the event, and be kind. You may not post:

  • a child's full name, school, or anything that says where a child will be and when;
  • insults, harassment, or anything you wouldn't say in front of the kids at the center;
  • advertising, links to sell things, or anything that isn't yours to share.

You can report a comment, and one reported by several families is hidden until we review it. We may hide or remove comments and stop accounts from commenting at our discretion. You are responsible for what you post, and comments are the opinions of the families who write them, not BowlRadar's.

9. Corrections and removals

If something about your event is wrong, or you're an organizer who would like an event changed or removed, send us a correction. We aim to review every correction promptly.

10. Acceptable use and feeds

You may not:

  • create accounts, send forms or post comments by automated means;
  • scrape, crawl or copy the site's listings, except through the feeds described below;
  • attempt to break or get around the site's security or limits;
  • submit events, corrections or emails that are false or not yours to share.

Search results are available as JSON and calendar feeds. They are for personal, non-commercial use, and for organizers' use of their own events. You may not use the feeds, or anything else taken from the site, to build or supply a competing directory or service.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

BowlRadar is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy and completeness.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, BowlRadar and the people behind it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on information in it, including any decision to enter, travel to or skip an event.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is material, we will email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
